Apple Pay for Celero Xpress gives members the ability to make contactless, in-app and online payments in an instant — eliminating the need to carry physical cards and cash for everyday purchases. Apple Pay is secure and widely accepted by retailers across Canada, making shopping and other transactions easier than ever for members.

Apple Pay for Celero Xpress is an optional feature offered through the Celero marketplace. Members can quickly add one or more debit cards to their Apple Wallet right from the Celero Xpress mobile app in a matter of seconds. Once cards are added to Apple Wallet, members can make purchases in-store using their mobile phone or online using Touch ID or Face ID for cards linked to their Apple ID account.

In-app provisioning and verification

/ Apple Pay and Celero Xpress are interconnected

With Apple Pay in-app provisioning, members can easily add debit cards to Apple Wallet on their mobile phone using the iOS version of Celero Xpress. With in-app verification, debit cards that are added to a member’s Apple Wallet can be verified through the iOS version of Celero Xpress.

Once members select the debit cards they would like to add to their Apple Wallet, they will receive a multi-factor authentication code to their mobile phone to validate their request. Members will receive confirmation that the debit card was successfully added, and debit cards that have been added to their Apple Wallet will be displayed under Apple Pay in Celero Xpress.

When a member with eligible debit cards signs in to the mobile app for the first time after Apple Pay is enabled, they will be greeted with a notification message letting them know that Apple Pay is now available. Members will be prompted to add a debit card to their mobile wallet with the “Add Card” call-to-action.

When a member selects “Add Card” in the Celero Xpress mobile app, their eligible debit cards will be displayed. From this screen, members can select which debit cards they would like to add to their Apple Wallet.
