Encompass Credit Union is pleased to announce that it has launched a new modern, secure digital banking platform, Celero Xpress™, powered by ebankIT on April 20, 2021. Their new digital banking home modernizes desktop, tablet and mobile app banking, gives the credit union first-class digital banking for its 8,200 members.
Encompass is the second credit union in Alberta to launch Celero Xpress which provides an industry-leading member experience and improved security, during a time in which more and more of its members are using digital banking tools. “Encompass has just achieved a critical milestone on its digital transformation journey with their launch of Celero Xpress. This future-forward platform is re-defining innovation in digital banking and we are thrilled to be Encompass’s partner in bringing it forward to their members,” says Richard Hannah, CEO, Celero.
“Encompass Credit Union is taking the next step for the future of our credit union, to provide our members with a new digital platform for many years to come,” said Kelly Longley, President and CEO of Encompass Credit Union. “We want to thank our members for trusting us with this improvement in member experience, which is a response to our members’ current and future needs.”
As nearly all credit unions across Alberta will be making this transition to the new digital banking platform with its collaborative partner Celero, a Canadian solutions integrator, Encompass has been preparing for the launch for over a year. New features and benefits to digital banking, along with improved security and ease of use will benefit all our membership, said Amy Gerstma, VP of Information Services for Encompass.
“This new digital banking platform serves the banking needs of our members extremely well, positioning us to move into the future – providing our membership ongoing innovation as the world evolves,” said Gertsma. “The out-of-the-box functionalities solidly reinforce the business relationship. This is truly a new digital banking experience and this experiential aspect cultivates the relationship.”
Gertsma also found that the collaboration with other credit unions within the system has been an added benefit of the migration. “There has been, and will continue to be, extraordinary collaboration within the system. Open sharing of experiences, information, and learning across provinces, regardless of positions within the credit unions. It makes me proud to be part of the credit union system.”
A new comprehensive and fresh, easy-to-navigate website comes with the new digital banking platform. The new website’s design keeps the user in the forefront – from viewing in a browser on a desktop computer or tablet to a mobile phone – driving significant improvements to the member experience.
“We congratulate Encompass for its vision in digital banking. ebankIT’s omnichannel digital platform is much more than a set of channels where banking apps can be accessed. It is an integrated solution that maximizes how financial institutions interact with their customers, extending the omnichannel concept and providing unified electronic solutions with centralized management. Customers can thus communicate quickly, easily and efficiently, using their channel of choice. We believe we are contributing to a better future not only for credit unions and banks but also for the end-user,” said Renato Oliveira, ebankIT’s CEO.
