Celero is proud to report it has ranked as one of the top hardware, software and service providers for the financial services industry in 2019, according to IDC Financial Insights.
As a research and consulting services organization, IDC Financial Insights annually publishes IDC FinTech Rankings – a list of the top 100 global IT vendors. This year, Celero is positioned in the 86th spot of the rankings, among innovative financial services brands from around the world. This is the fourth consecutive year that Celero has made the list.
“Being counted among this group of forward-thinking, service-minded organizations demonstrates Celero’s achievements over the past year, but more importantly it represents opportunities for innovation and growth as we move forward. We are honoured to be listed in the 2020 IDC FinTech Rankings, and see it as a milestone in our continued journey to position credit unions for competitiveness in a digital economy,” says Richard Hannah, Interim CEO, Celero.
Recognizing a growing and innovative industry
This Fortune 500-style ranking categorizes and evaluates the top global providers of financial technology, based on calendar year revenues from financial institutions for hardware, software and/or services. These providers supply the technological backbone of the financial services industry; IDC Financial Insights forecasts worldwide spending on IT across the globe to exceed $577 billion (USD) by 2024.
“Being named in the IDC FinTech Rankings is a significant accomplishment, demonstrating a provider’s commitment to the success of its financial institution clients,” states Marc DeCastro, Research Director, IDC Financial Insights. “The IDC Fintech Rankings, now in its 17th year, is the global standard list of fintech providers to the industry, and we congratulate the 2020 winners.”
