Earlier this year, we announced that we are co-hosting the Credit Union Technology Forum (CUTF) in Halifax, Nova Scotia from June 5 – 8 alongside Central 1, League Data and the Prairie Payments Joint Venture. The event is where collaboration and innovation come together to showcase the future of financial services. The CUTF includes networking opportunities and two full days of sessions and speakers. Thursday, June 8 is dedicated to workshops focused on the key initiatives that are being worked on in your credit union. Keep on reading to discover five reasons why you should attend the CUTF.

Collaboration

The key theme of the 2023 CUTF is collaboration in the credit union technology space. All the hosts decided to combine our efforts to create the CU Tech Forum. Combing all the technology partner events and resources into one forum is efficient for credit union delegates and partners. We believe that by working together, credit unions can achieve more than they can on their own. That’s why we’ve built in plenty of opportunities for attendees to connect, share ideas and explore potential partnerships.

Networking

The CUTF provides many opportunities for networking with credit union peers from across the country, hosts, partners and fintech’s. Delegates will be able to network during the cocktail receptions, designated networking breaks, at the trade show hall, during meals and the closing evening reception. Whether you’re looking to team up with other credit unions on a joint project, or simply want to learn from other professionals in the field, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to do so at the event.

Sessions, Panels and Speakers

This year’s forum will feature thought-provoking keynote speakers, panel discussions and breakout sessions on a wide range of topics, including digital banking, open banking, payments, cyber security, and more. Attendees will learn from industry experts about the current inner-workings of the Canadian credit union system and where the system is headed in the future.

Entertainment

Since the 2023 CUTF is in Halifax, we are planning to have entertainment moments that will have an East Coast flavour. Showcasing different entertainment and cultural pieces at the networking receptions and at different moments throughout the day is sure to add to your experience at the event.

Technology

Many of the sessions, panels and speakers are technology experts and will be sharing their perspective on how technology is evolving the credit union landscape. From artificial intelligence and machine learning to open banking and payments, delegates will get the insights they need ensure the success of their credit union and happiness of their members. In addition to the formal program, there will also be an exhibit hall where you can see the latest fintech products and services from leading companies.

We hope you’ll join us for this exciting event and be a part of shaping the future of credit unions. Register before March 17 with code LAUNCH to secure your spot at the CUTF and to be a part of the conversation shaping the future of the credit union industry. Don’t forget to check back for more details as we start to finalize our agenda and speakers.
